The 42 acres on the corner of Stanley and Creek Roads known as the Clem Jones Sports Centre was founded nearly 50 years ago by retired Lord Mayor; Clem Jones. Mr Jones’ vision for the centre was to see that the children of the local community had somewhere to go to and play sport. With the help of many other dedicated and loyal residents of the Camp Hill/Carina area, the Clem Jones Sports Centre was complete.
The centre has on offer many competitive sports and clubs including football, basketball, cricket, netball, baseball and many others. This website is focused on the “Carina Pool” and its facilities.

The Clem Jones Sports Centre is widely recognised for its extensive recreational facilities and actively promotes young people to participate in sporting and leisure activities.
